C. Larry Hoag Center for Real Estate and Finance

The C. Larry Hoag Center for Real Estate and Finance provides academic and professional opportunities in real estate and finance to students of the Argyros College of Business and Economics.

Gifts to the Hoag Center will support: faculty in developing a real estate concentration at the graduate level and maintain the quality of the undergraduate emphasis in real estate; certificate and continuing education programs in real estate and finance; access to real estate industry practitioners, mentors, internships, and industry data and information; and faculty research in real estate by providing grants and access to industry data.

Center for Demographics and Policy

The Center for Demographics and Policy focuses on research and analysis of global, national, and regional demographic trends and explores policies that might produce favorable demographic results over time. It involves Chapman students in demographic research under the supervision of the Center’s senior staff.

Students work with the Center’s director and engage in research that will serve them well as they look to develop their careers in business, the social sciences, and the arts. Students also have access to our advisory board, which includes distinguished Chapman faculty and major demographic scholars from across the country and the world.

For additional information, please contact Mahnaz Asghari, sponsored project analyst for the Office of Research, at (714) 744-7635 or asghari@chapman.edu.

Dean's Fund for Emerging Enterprises

Our mission at The George L. Argyros College of Business and Economics is to prepare graduates to immediately contribute value and impact in today's evolving business world, and our college has enjoyed great success. But as the business world rapidly changes, we need to continue to innovate our programs to be sure that we are preparing our graduates for both the current AND future business environments.

Since its inception in 2015, the Dean’s Fund for Emerging Enterprises has helped to propel the Argyros College through the national rankings. As we continue to fund the future, this fund will provide strategic investments that advance the mission of the Argyros College, beyond the current status quo. A short list of examples includes:

  • advanced programs and technology to support career placement
  • curriculum enhancements and lab space/equipment for: Big Data analytics, Real Estate, and Healthcare management
  • cutting edge research

Real Estate Education Endowment

The Real Estate Education Endowment will support real estate education in Argyros College. The funds may be used for expenses associated with the development of curricula, faculty recruitment and retention, program development, scholarships, and other costs associated with real estate education at Chapman as determined by the dean.
