»Nidhi Vogt - Vice President and Deputy Chief of Staff

Nidhi serves as the Vice President and Deputy Chief of Staff at Chapman University, where she oversees areas including Special Events, Career and Professional Development, and the Hilbert Museum of California Art. In her role, she is deeply involved in external engagement, supporting Board relations and cultivating strategic partnerships with community stakeholders. As Deputy Chief of Staff, Nidhi collaborates closely with university leaders across campuses to advance institutional priorities and initiatives.

Previously, Nidhi was the Associate Vice President for Engagement and Volunteerism at Chapman, where she led efforts in alumni and parent engagement, volunteer and donor relations, and annual giving. She also cultivated major gifts from alumni, parents, and Board members. Under her leadership, her teams created strong cross-campus collaborations, resulting in increased engagement, philanthropic support, and volunteerism.

With nearly 20 years of experience in higher education administration, Nidhi has held leadership roles at Whittier Law School, Purdue University Global, and Chapman University. As Assistant Dean for Student Affairs at Chapman’s Fowler School of Law, she oversaw student and alumni programming and staff, and helped establish the Center for Student Success. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she developed innovative programming to foster community among students, faculty, alumni, and administration—efforts that earned national recognition and placed Fowler School of Law on National Jurist Magazine’s list of the 25 Most Innovative Law Schools.

Nidhi is a licensed attorney in California and has practiced in the area of trusts and estates. She has also taught courses at law schools in Southern California. She earned her B.A. from Vanderbilt University and her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law.

In addition to her professional work, Nidhi serves on the volunteer parent board at St. John’s Episcopal School. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, their two children, and their dog.
