Welcome Undergraduate Students! The Student Business Services Office is responsible for student billing and the collection of tuition, fees, housing and other student charges. In preparation for the upcoming term, please review the Undergraduate Student Checklist.

Important Dates and Deadlines:

June 29, 2023: Charges start to post to student accounts
June 29, 2023: Payment Plan enrollment opens
July 1, 2023: eStatements go out to students & Panther Partner Authorized Users
July 20, 2023: Fall Payment due: tuition, room, and board (if applicable)
Prior to First Day of Term: Tuition Protection purchase deadline
First Day of Term: Tuition & Fee Master Payment Contract submission deadline
First Day of Term: Proof of Health Insurance submission deadline
September 18, 2023: Board Meal Plan change deadline
September 18, 2023: Student Health Insurance purchase deadline
September 18, 2023: International Student Health Insurance waiver deadline

Internship and Independent Study tuition costs follow all of the same tuition rates and policies, as any other course.

Tuition and Fee Master Payment Contract (Mandatory): All Chapman University students are required to submit the Tuition & Fee Master Payment Contract, at the start at each academic year. The contract is available on the Student Center's eForms tile.

Authorization to Release Student Information: Student records at Chapman University are governed by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Chapman University is prohibited from providing student record information to third parties, such as billing, financial aid, educational records, etc. In order for Chapman University to release student record information to anyone other than the student, the Chapman Release Authorization form must be signed and submitted by the student. Student record information will only be released by departments authorized and only to the individuals specified on the release form.

Students must register their vehicle, to be eligible to park on campus. Parking permits are virtual and are linked to the license plate. Permits are mandatory.

Student Health Center Fee is a mandatory per-term fee for all full-time undergraduate students. The fee is not related to health insurance. The fee provides students access to Health Center and Counseling Services.

Part-time students are welcome to purchase access to the Health Center by completing the Purchase Health Insurance eForm via their Student Center's eForms tile.

Proof of health insurance will be required of all students. Students should monitor their Student Center to submit proof of insurance. Otherwise, the student will be enrolled in the plan selected by the university and charged the cost of coverage

Student Health Insurance can be purchased each academic year, upon request. Students may log-in to their Student Center and click on “eForms” to purchase coverage.

International Student Health Insurance: International students are automatically billed for student health insurance. If the student has coverage through an individual or family plan, the student can waive the health insurance by completing the proof of insurance form available in their Student Center.
