blanchette@chapman.eduHelene Blanchette is a seasoned senior executive, international business strategist,
and thought leader dedicated to helping organizations navigate complex, transformative
landscapes. As the Director of the Schmid Center for International Business at Chapman
University, Helene leverages more than three decades of global corporate experience
and entrepreneurial insight to design and deliver future-focused initiatives that
bridge theory and practice. In addition to serving as director of SCIB, Helene teaches
International Marketing (MKTG 406) and Marketing (MKTG 304) at Chapman University.
Helene began her corporate journey with Xerox, where she led strategic initiatives
across North America and for a decade at Fuji Xerox in Asia-Pacific. As the first
woman appointed to senior leadership in Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific, she spearheaded digital
transformation projects that increased operational efficiency. She also founded the
Xerox 1:1 Lab—an incubator for cutting-edge data-driven marketing design, earning
multiple global industry accolades for these breakthrough solutions.
An accomplished keynote speaker, Helene has addressed thought leaders and policymakers
on the world stage: at the Davos Lodge during the 2025 World Economic Forum, at the
Pontifical Academy of Sciences in the Vatican, and as one of 100 women selected for
the Forbes Power Women Summit in Monaco in 2023.
Helene’s commitment to giving back is evident in her founding of BizAndGive’s social
impact mandate. She serves on the Board of the Child Creativity Lab, helping children
explore their critical thinking and creative minds, and is an advisor for International
Sanctuary, supporting survivors of human trafficking in regaining their freedom and
dignity.
