Chapman Court is a new apartment complex that houses undergraduate continuing and transfer students, which opened in the Fall of 2024. This exciting new apartment complex is just about a short 3-mile distance from the Orange campus.

  • Chapman Court is nestled in the heart of the Platinum Triangle, a lively district in the city of Anaheim.
  • Living in Chapman Court means access to various entertainment options. The apartment complex is about a 15-minute walk from Angel Stadium and a 10-minute drive from the Honda Center.
  • Chapman Court provides you with an off-campus experience while remaining connected to a community of Chapman students.

This is an example of a Chapman Court living room. Chapman Court living room furniture is provided and includes a TV stand, dining room table, four dining room chairs, coffee stand, couch, and a swivel chair. Please note that living rooms may look different depending on the unit layout.

Bedroom

This is an example of a Chapman Court shared bedroom. Chapman Court bedroom furniture is provided and includes a twin XL bedframe, a twin XL mattress, a dresser for each student, and a nightstand for each student. Please note that bedrooms may look different depending on the unit layout.

Room access

Each Chapman Court apartment has one in-unit washing machine and dryer.

Parking & Transportation

Shuttle Services:

  • Chapman Court is about three miles from the Orange campus, and to support easy access to classes and campus resources, the university provides a dedicated shuttle service for residents.
  • The shuttle runs regularly throughout the day, transporting students to and from the Orange campus, which allows residents to commute, without the need for a personal vehicle, while staying fully engaged in academic and campus activities.

Parking:

Residents who have a vehicle, may park in the Chapman Court parking structure. However, here are some things to know about Chapman Court parking:

  • Registering your vehicle: residents who choose to bring a vehicle should have that vehicle properly registered in accordance with university parking policies.
  • Tandem parking: Chapman Court has tandem parking, which means cars are parked one behind the other.
  • Assigned parking spaces: Each apartment is assigned one less parking space than the number of registered vehicles.
    • For example: if an apartment has 4 resgistered vehicles, that apartment is assigned 3 parking spots.
    • If there is only one registered vehicle in the apartment, then there is one assigned parking spot.
  • Alternative parking options:
    • If parking in Chapman Court is filled, students are able to park in the Panther Village backlot or Jim Miller parking structure. They can then use the shuttle to travel to Chapman Court from these alternative parking lots.
    • If students are parking in alternative parking lots after shuttle hours, they can call Public Safety for rides to Chapman Court.
