Amy DeMartino has over a decade of experience working at Chapman University, with roles in both academic and university operations. She joined the College of Performing Arts in November 2014 as the Operations Administrator and oversees the day-to-day administrative, operational and financial operations of the college.

Amy is an alumna of California State University, Fullerton and Chapman University. She holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in English Literature. Her love of literature is credited for her passion and patronage of the arts.

Jasmine enjoys admissions work because of the opportunity to change student’s lives. As the Assistant Director of Admissions and Recruitment she will support the College of Performing Arts by working with prospective students, other school administrators, as well as developing and coordinating admission related initiatives.

Peter Westenhofer is a graduate of the B.F.A. program at Chapman University and supervises the artistic logistics for all productions in Music, Theatre and Dance. Locally, he has performed with Performance Riverside, Shakespeare Orange County, Saddleback Civic Light Opera, Laguna Playhouse, Costa Mesa Playhouse, and Son of Semele Ensemble. Some of Peter’s film credits include “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?” and “Sister Act II.”  Adept both on and off the stage, he is an accomplished director, choreographer, and instructor for various performing arts venues throughout Orange County. Peter has also worked for South Coast Repertory, Universal Pictures, HBO Pictures, the American College Theatre Festival, California Education Theatre Association, and The Groundlings.

In 2019, Peter was presented with the "President's Award" in recognition of his exceptional service to Chapman University.

Emma is thrilled to be joining Chapman University and the College of Performing Arts in the new role of Career Advisor. She is excited to be able to draw upon her multi-faceted background in student affairs and the performing arts in order to support the unique career development needs of CoPA students and alumni. Emma recently completed her Ph.D. in Performance Studies at UC Davis and holds an MA in Performance Research from Bristol University. Previously, Emma worked as an academic advisor for first-year students at Rutgers University. She also gained experience in arts administration and theatre education at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey where she worked as a teaching artist, assistant to the artistic director, and assistant director or dramaturgical assistant on several productions. Emma is new to SoCal and in her spare time loves hiking, tabletop gaming, and spending time with her cats.

Jean supports the College of Performing Arts by creating and managing event publicity materials, public relations, marketing, advertising, and social media for the College. An alumna of the University of California, Irvine's English department, she has worked in marketing communications, public and corporate communications, and product marketing in the high-tech manufacturing and distribution industries. She briefly ran her own freelance business, creating websites and social media profiles and campaigns for private clients that included youth sports, restaurants, and educational groups. Jean is thrilled to be working in an environment where her professional skills and interests can be put to good use, sharing the news and stories of the College's students, faculty, and events with its many friends, patrons, and supporters, as well as the Chapman Family.

Bobby recently joined Chapman University’s College of Performing Arts after spending time at Pacific Sports, where he helped produce triathlons and handle event management of several endurance events. Prior to that, he worked at iHeart Media working on sponsor and account activation. Bobby comes to Chapman having worked in the arts, spending over three years in the development office of the American Film Institute.

When he is away from the office, he enjoys his #1 passion, running. He recently completed his first ultra-marathon (any distance over the marathon distance of 26.2 miles), running 50 miles from Folsom, CA to Auburn, CA. He has also run 8 marathons and more than 20 half marathons over the last several years. He is a graduate of Emerson College in Boston, MA and hails from Colchester, VT where he became a lifelong Red Sox fan – his other passion.

Heather Enriquez has worked on stage or behind the scenes since the age of 4. She is an active member of the Orange County theatre community and has decades of experience in performing arts marketing, sales, ticketing, design, administration, and management. Heather co-founded That’s What She Said Women Writers Collective and Breath of Fire Theater Company. She is the founder and Artistic Director of the Page to Stage Playwrights Festival and an adjudicator for the Orange County Theatre Guild Awards.

Over the years, she has worked with Curtis Theatre, STAGEStheatre, Vanguard Theatre Ensemble, Alternative Repertory Theatre, Cypress Civic Theatre, Theatre Out, Fringe Benefits, the UUCF, Rude Guerilla Theatre Company, Monkey Wrench Collective, Fullerton College, Project LaFemme, Orange County Playwright's Association, South Coast Repertory, Stage Door Repertory, the Hollywood Fringe Festival, Long Beach Playhouse, Laguna Beach Playhouse, Maverick Theater, Huntington Beach Playhouse, Mysterium Theater, Titan Filmworks, Parker-Tai Productions, Pipeline Digital Media, and Tiberiusfilm. Heather was most recently seen on stage in the STAGEStheatre production of “The Paper Hangers.”

As assistant to the Dean, Joann King keeps busy with class schedules, syllabi, school events, faculty meetings, facilities, promotion, and publicity. Joann is an alumna of Chapman University as a Communication major with a theatre emphasis and is married to alumnus David King. Joann enjoys working with the students and faculty and is dedicated to the College of Performing Arts and to making others aware of the contributions it makes to Chapman University.

Clara Harnett has been with the Department of Dance since 2008. She has been at Chapman University several years before her passion for dance and working directly with the students brought her to the Department of Dance. As the department assistant she provides invaluable support to the department faculty, staff and students. She also supervises the day-to-day operations in the department ranging from future student auditions to event scheduling.

Clara was raised in the city of Orange where she currently lives with her family. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, gardening and four wheeling in her Jeep.

Katie Silberman attended UC Berkeley, where she majored in political science and German. She then completed her Masters of Library and Information Science at San Jose State University. Following school, Katie took a break from the working world to raise her three children. Several years ago she went back to work part time as a school librarian in Tustin, and later worked as a public librarian for the City of Anaheim. A highlight of her library career was speaking at the California Library Association, where she presented her children’s programs “Stories and Music” and “Stories and Science”. Katie is thrilled to be a part of the Hall-Musco Conservatory of Music team at Chapman.

On the weekends Katie can often be found cheering on her children at the baseball field, track or dance theater. She also enjoys reading, sewing, water skiing and traveling.

Bonnie Walker provides invaluable support to the Theatre Department faculty, staff, and students. Her responsibilities range from scheduling entrance auditions for prospective students to making sure a graduating student's name is spelled correctly in the annual theatre banquet program. If it happens in the Theatre Department, it has to cross her desk at some point. Students think of her not only as their "mom away from home" but also as a peer who can understand what they are going through, since she has taken most of the theatre courses offered here at Chapman. If Bonnie doesn't have the answer, then she will know where to go to get it!

Marc is a stage veteran with a diverse resume including award-winning theatre, education, theme park entertainment, dance, and special events. He has always been fascinated by the process and spectacle of performing arts, believing that creative collaboration can produce anything imaginable.

Ruthe was born in Brazil but was raised in Southern California. She has her BA in Home Economics, and MA in Theater from California State University, Los Angeles, where she was subsequently hired as their Costume and Makeup Supervisor for 8 years. After taking a few years off to raise her children, she worked at University of California, Irvine, first as a stitcher for a year and then as Costume Shop Foreman for five years. After contracting as a Cutter with Chapman for 10+ years, she was hired in August 2016 as the Costume Studio Assistant Manager. While her initial emphasis was design, she now finds fulfillment in helping young designers realize their dreams.

Josh is an accomplished Master Carpenter and Welder with credits that include the Grammys, Emmys, Sundance, and the Oscars to name just a few. His love for theater lead him to Pepperdine where he taught Scenic Design and Stage Craft. After leaving Pepperdine he began teaching select master classes in Southern California, which he continues to do in his free time. Comfortable on stage and off, he was Aladdin at the Hyperion Theater at Disneyland. He now lives to give back to the youth what he has learned from his sixteen years in the industry, believing with the right guidance and tutelage anything imaginable is possible.

Christine (Wille) Weil holds a BA in Technical Theatre from Chapman with an emphasis in Design Technology.  Originally from Chicago, she instantly fell in love with Southern California and never looked back. Christine has been involved in the Performing Arts since she wore her first pink tutu at age 3. She has become more passionate about costume and makeup design throughout her extensive experience on both sides of the stage.

She feels very blessed to have worked with a number of professional theatre companies, including 3D-Theatricals, Pacific Symphony Opera, UC Irvine, and Shakespeare Orange County in Wardrobe Supervision, Costume and Makeup Design, Prosthetic Makeup, Props Technology, and Costume Shop Management. These experiences, along with 10 years of working backstage for CoPA for Theatre, Dance, and Opera, have shaped her into the collaborative artist she is today. Christine looks forward to continuing to “make magic happen,” and is thrilled to be a part of such a creative production team!
