What is the Chapman Green Film Certification?
The film and production industry are oftentimes extremely resource intensive- consuming vasts amount of energy, producing large amounts of waste and releasing carbon emissions. Learn more about the environmental impact of the film industry here. The Chapman Green Film Certification, inspired by PGA's Green Production Guide, aims to make Dodge College productions more sustainable. Areas of focus include water bottles, paper use, recycling and waste, set pieces/wardrobe, food/dishware, crew education, energy use and on-screen influence. To become a Chapman Certified Green Film, a production must complete 75% of the items on the Green Film checklist.
