The topics covered in this year's audit were sustainable transportation, which includes transportation recommendations based on student residences, Chapman bike culture, active and public transport, carpooling, parking demand management, parking infrastructure costs, and meeting the needs of Chapman's future growth, as well as sustainability in curriculum, which included: interdisciplinary curriculums, the Environmental Science and Policy curriculum, sustainability in Schmid College, Argyros School for Business, and Crean, as well as environmental health, my.chapman, sustainability workshops for faculty, environmental awareness, and Earth Week.

Curriculum
The 2017 audit also covered exposure to sustainability topics in the university curriculum, including but not limited to interdisciplinary curriculum, the sustainability curriculum across departments, finding classes in my.chapman.edu, sustainability workshops for faculty and Earth Week programming.
Transportation
Topics covered in the transportation section of the 2017 Audit included Chapman bike culture, active and public transport, carpooling, parking demand management, parking infrastructure costs, and how to meet the growing transportation needs of Chapman University students, faculty and staff. Recommendations came in the form of increased incentives for active and public transportation, additional transportation services based on students residential locations, and increased education of current options and offerings.
