»Event Scheduling Timeline

Event scheduling at Chapman is made easy with the help of Event Operations and the use of our online space reservation system, 25Live. In an effort to help all event planners during this process, we have created the event scheduling timeline below. This allows everyone to clearly see when they can submit their event to the 25Live system, and what the official cutoff dates are before the system opens to a broader audience. 

2026-2027 Academic Year

Please note: The 2025-2026 academic year is now open to all individuals to submit their events.

• December 1, 2025
  • All Major Events submitted to Event Operations
• TBD
  • Events Advisory Group Meeting
• February 16, 2026
  • Event Operations will process Major Events for 25/26
• March 3, 2026
  • 25Live will be available for non-major events that need special consideration
• March 30, 2026
  • 25Live will open for the 25/26 academic year for the campus community as a whole

• June 19th, 2025 - Juneteenth
• July 3rd-4th, 2025 - Fourth of July
• August 19th-24th, 2025 - Fall Orientation (Key Event)
• September 1st, 2025 - Labor Day
• September 25th, 2025 - Career Fair (Key Event)
• October 3rd-4th, 2025 - Homecoming (Key Event)
• October 5th-10th, 2025 - Inauguration Week (Key Event)
• November 27th-28th, 2025 - Thanksgiving 
• December 8th-13th, 2025 - Finals Week (Key Event)
• December 23rd, 2025 - Holiday Reception (Key Event)
• December 24th, 2025-January 2nd, 2026 - Winter Closure
• January 19th, 2026 - MLK Day
• January 27th-29th, 2926 - Spring Orientation (Key Event)
• January 28th-February 1st, 2026 - Sorority Recruitment (Key Event)
• February 27th-28th, 2026 - Parent Spring Summit (Key Event)
• March 11th, 2026 - Career Fair (Key Event)
• March 27th, 2026 - Cesar Chavez Day
• April 11th, 2026 - Preview Day (Key Event)
