  • Disciples on Campus General Scholarship: A $2,000 scholarship awarded to Chapman students who are affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) or the United Church of Christ and are also encouraged to participate in Disciples on Campus
  • Disciples on Campus Legacy Scholarship: For Chapman students who have parents or grandparents who are Disciples or UCC ministers.
    • Eligible for half off tuition if your FAFSA shows need.
    • UCC Conference and Disciples Regional and Area youth leaders are eligible for half tuition if their FAFSA shows need.
    • Disciples or UCC high school students who have completed the Youth Leadership Symposium (YLS).
    • Note that this scholarship is not stackable with Chapman merit scholarships (for instance, The Dean’s Scholarship). Whichever award has the greater value will be the one awarded.
  • DOC - DYER Education Fund Scholarship: Awarded to Chapman students admitted or enrolled who show need according to the FAFSA. The first preference is given to students from the Northern California-Nevada Region, second preference to any student who is a member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada
    • Deadline to apply: March 20 (click the link above to apply).

If you have any questions about the scholarships above, please call the Office of Church Relations at (714) 997-6760 or email churchrelations@chapman.edu.

Outside scholarships for Christian students

Many outside scholarships are open to Chapman undergraduate students and are stackable with Chapman scholarships. You can find the complete list on the Christian Applicants page.

In addition, a number of congregations offer scholarships to their college-bound youth, so we encourage you to explore this option with your home congregation.

Support Disciples on Campus studentsdoc-scholarships.jpeg

Chapman students who are part of the religious organization Disciples on Campus rely on the generosity of donors to help them achieve their educational goals.

In addition to academic and outside scholarships, DOC scholarships can play a pivotal role for families seeking to provide a Chapman education for their children.

You can learn about the number of ways to support Disciples on Campus on the Support DOC Students page.
