Lambda Pi Eta is the National Communication Association’s official honor society at four-year colleges and universities nationwide. There are more than 500 active chapters in 47 states.
As a member, you will have the opportunity to develop as a leader and gain insight into the realm of communication academically, professionally, and personally. It also looks great on a resume.
Examples of Lambda Pi Eta events & programs include:
- Resume and professional development workshops
- Internship, independent study, alumni, faculty, and graduate student panels
- Class registration workshops
Eligibility
Lambda Pi Eta membership is open to all undergraduate students in the School of Communication who have:
- Completed at least 60 semester units and 12 credits in Communication Studies courses.
- A cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
- A major GPA of at least 3.3.
In addition, there is a one-time fee of $65.00. This includes a certificate, honor cord, and pin.
