The Integrated MS in Accounting provides you with a competitive advantage as you enhance your analytical skills. It adds value to accounting students’ resumes as they seek careers with prominent firms and throughout the workplace, while completing requirements for CPA Licensure.

The Integrated Master of Science in Accounting is open to current Chapman University undergraduate students in the BS in Accounting program. Read below in the requirements section for more specific guidance.

The program is STEM designated and offers international students the chance for an extension of two years post-completion of optional practical training (OPT) work in the United States following graduation.

Requirements for the Integrated Undergraduate/Master of Science in Accounting Degree

Students may take up to 12 credits of graduate coursework during their senior year, of which 6 credits of graduate classes may count towards the 120 credits required for their bachelor's degree.  A maximum of 12 credits of graduate coursework taken during their senior year can be applied toward the 30 credits required for the MS in Accounting, allowing for accelerated completion of the MSA.

Application Requirements

Admission into the Chapman Integrated MS in Accounting Program is highly competitive.  Applicants are evaluated on academic performance, leadership potential, volunteer and internship experience, and communication skills.  Program entry may be granted by completion of the following requirements:

  • Submit the online application in the spring of junior year, no later than May 1
  • Complete 75 credits or more of undergraduate coursework with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
  • GMAT Test Scores or Waiver
  • Resume
  • Statement of Intent
  • Letter of recommendation 
  • Interview

Tuition

Integrated MS Accounting Credits Completed during your Undergraduate program are charged with Undergraduate Tuition covered by Undergraduate Financial Aid, Scholarships and Grants. Additional credits taken during Graduate program are charged at the program rate.
