»Talent Award in Journalism Scholarship
The journalism program offers talent awards up to $2,000 annually for up to four years.
These awards are given to select students demonstrating exceptional talent in journalistic
writing and a commitment to the creative activity, scholarship, and service in the
journalism program. Talent Scholarships are added to the financial aid package the
University awards you.
The deadline to submit materials for fall term is March 25 and spring term is November 1.
Requirements
Recipients of the Journalism Talent Award must either major in English with a Journalism
concentration or minor in Journalism or Visual Journalism.
We welcome applications from students intending to major or minor in something in
addition to English with a Journalism Concentration (for example, those majoring in

Peace & Justice Studies, Political Science, Environmental Science & Policy, etc.).
