Community Connections at the Hilbert Museum, a Town & Gown special event

Join us for an exclusive after-hours event at the Hilbert Museum of California Art, with private gallery access and a talk by renowned artist Richard Turner: Stones I’ve Known and Loved. This special event offers time to engage with fellow Town & Gown members and to introduce guests to the mission of the organization.

Discover a new literary adventure with Bound by Books - the Town & Gown book club! Join fellow book enthusiasts from the local community and university as we delve into thought-provoking novels, engaging discussions, and shared passion for storytelling. Each month’s selection is chosen exclusively from either a Chapman or community author, and sometimes, the authors themselves join the conversations to share insights, stories, and personal experiences related to their work. 

Whether you're a seasoned reader or just starting your literary journey, we welcome all book lovers to join us. Our monthly meetings will provide a relaxed and inviting space to connect with others, explore diverse perspectives, and deepen your appreciation for the written word.
