Raising Awareness of Town & Gown
Town & Gown’s special events aim to raise awareness about the group’s mission
while offering members and potential members an exclusive, behind-the-scenes glimpse
into the vibrant community and rich traditions of Chapman University. These events
foster connections between members and the university, showcasing its unique programs,
achievements, and vision.
Additionally, some events extend beyond the campus, taking place in the local community
to further strengthen ties and broaden outreach. Previous events have featured exclusive
tours of the Hilbert Museum and Rinker’s Brain Institute, engaging lectures from Chapman’s
esteemed faculty, and exciting excursions around Orange County. Check back here for
the latest updates on future endeavors!

Bound By Books
Discover a new literary adventure with Bound by Books - the Town & Gown book club!
Join fellow book enthusiasts from the local community and university as we delve into
thought-provoking novels, engaging discussions, and shared passion for storytelling.
Each month’s selection is chosen exclusively from either a Chapman or community author,
and sometimes, the authors themselves join the conversations to share insights, stories,
and personal experiences related to their work. Whether you're a seasoned reader or just starting your literary journey, we welcome all book lovers to join us. Our monthly meetings will provide a relaxed and inviting space to connect with others, explore diverse perspectives, and deepen your appreciation for the written word.
Bound by Books meets on the last Thursday of every month, either on the Chapman campus or at a local spot in the community. Check here or email TownandGown@chapman.edu for updates on books, locations, and Zoom links.
