T&G presidentHello!

I greet you as the new Town & Gown President for 2025-2026. I am honored to serve this incredible group of talented individuals who are passionate about Chapman University. Town & Gown connects the community with Chapman’s unique resources, providing scholarships to bright and deserving students. Town & Gown at Chapman University was founded in 1968 to connect the campus (Gown) and the community (Town). 53 years later and we are still going strong!

Town & Gown, a not-for-profit group, brings together community residents, business leaders, alumni, parents and grandparents of Chapman students, current and former Chapman faculty and staff, as well as other friends of the university.

Our main goals are to:

  • SUPPORT students through the Town & Gown Endowed Scholarship Fund
  • CONNECT with the entire Chapman Family
  • LEARN from outstanding faculty and academic leaders during Lunch at the Forum, our annual series of five mini master classes

We have proudly made contributions to Chapman University. To learn more about those, please click here.

Please feel free to explore all that T&G has to offer! Click through our website with the buttons on the left and learn more about our group. Also, did you know that all T&G members can serve on one of the executive committees? If you're interested in joining a committee (Special Events, Online Master Class, Lunch at the Forum, Communication or Membership), please contact us!

Town & Gown Scholars

Ask a member about Town & Gown’s most important mission, and the immediate answer is usually “our scholarship students.” The students selected each year are juniors or seniors with amazing accomplishments and great plans for their future, with their awards coming from the Town & Gown Endowed Scholarship Fund

Please click below to see the list of recipients since 1984, with this year's class totaling 77! We welcome our five 2025-2026 Town & Gown Scholars: Saori Cochachin ‘26, Nataniel Farzan ‘26, Evan Figueroa ‘26, Alexis Reeves ‘27, and Samantha Rosinski ‘27. Each student scholar was awarded $8,500 from the Town & Gown Endowed Scholarship Fund. Lunch at the Forum attendees will have the opportunity to meet these fine Chapman students in person. We are certainly proud to call them "our scholarship students!"
