» Graduate Student Council

The Graduate Student Council (GSC) is the governing body for Graduate Student Government at Chapman. It consists of student representatives from each of the Colleges at Chapman that have graduate programs. Among the responsibilities of the GSC are drafting and revising the Graduate Student Government Constitution and Bylaws, representing the graduate student body at faculty committee meetings, and fostering a graduate student community at Chapman through social events.

Second Annual Happy Hour Event

Current Chapman graduate students are invited to join the GSC for our Second Annual Happy Hour Event! Appetizers will be served and attendees will receive two drink tickets good for bottled Budweiser, bottled Coors Light, mixed well cocktail, house made sangria, or a non-alcohol beverage. Drink specials will also be available for purchase.

Inaugural Graduate Student Reception

Current and former Chapman graduate students, faculty, and staff are cordially invited to a night of light refreshments and music! This event aims to strengthen unity, promote diversity, and build a more cohesive network among Chapman University’s graduate student body. The reception provides a unique opportunity to graduate students from different disciplines to learn about the interesting and impressive work conducted by their colleagues. Through this event, the GSC hopes to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration between Chapman's various graduate programs.

Cocktail attire is requested. Attendees are recommended to bring business cards. Student, faculty, and staff from each graduate program will have the opportunity to address attendees and speak about their respective programs.
