Chapman's Central Source for Data Resources, Reports and Best Practices

Chapman University relies on data to provide its students with the best possible education and its staff and faculty with optimal working conditions. Class schedules, enrollment, grades, faculty contracts, alumni giving, department budgets and research grant proposals are all stored as data and managed in one or multiple systems in order to enable the university to function and improve.

Whether we are providing reports inside or outside our own departments, onboarding new staff, or sharing information about our institution with the public, we owe it to our students and to our colleagues to be exemplary custodians of that data.

Data@Chapman seeks to support these efforts by:

Get Involved

Data@Chapman began as a cooperative effort between IS&T’s Data Services team and the Institutional Research and Decision Support (IRADS) office, but inclusivity has always been the goal. All departments, offices, and programs across Chapman work with institutional data in some way, so we are all part of Data@Chapman and we all stand to benefit from everyone’s involvement.

If you would like to know more about Data@Chapman, have a question or suggestion, or would like to make a contribution to these pages or Chapman’s Data Cookbook, please email data@chapman.edu.
