Jim and Kay Burra share a lifelong commitment to curiosity, problem-solving, and the transformative power of exceptional teaching. Jim’s career—spanning public accounting, corporate leadership, entrepreneurship, and board service—reflects that spirit, while Kay’s background in education reinforces their commitment to student success. Inspired by the professors who shaped their own lives and their daughter Laura’s Chapman experience, the Burras established the Burra School of Accounting and Finance to support future generations of business leaders.
