»Taiwan Global Learning Ambassador Award

The Taiwan Global Learning Ambassador Award supports students pursuing immersive educational experiences through Chapman University’s Travel Course to Taiwan. This award is designed to recognize motivated and academically strong students who are eager to deepen their understanding of the Chinese language and culture through first-hand experiences abroad.
Award recipients will receive a Non-Qualified Scholarship of $1,000 to support their participation in the Fall 2026 Travel Course to Taiwan. In return, recipients will serve as Travel Course Ambassadors for one year following their return, helping inspire future participants by attending events and visiting classes to share their insights and experience
The Taiwan Global Learning Ambassador Award will be provided in one lump sum to support the incidental costs of the travel class.  These funds cannot be applied towards tuition.

Eligibility: Students with a Minor in Chinese or Themed Inquiry, a minimum 3.0 GPA, and enrollment in the Fall 2026 Travel Course to Taiwan.

Commitment: Recipients must serve as Travel Course Ambassadors for one year after returning, attending at least one event per semester, and visiting four classes to share their experiences.
