Department Cake Wars Competition
Department Decorators,
We are seven days away from Staff Summit 2023 – Department Cake Wars!
Directions and Rules:
- Pick up your cake kits at the HR Office (DeMille Hall 140, or 9401-170) during normal business hours, starting today, Friday, July 21, 2023.
- You must use all the ingredients from your cake kit in your final product.
- This is a decorating competition, not a tasting competition.
- The decorations do not have to be edible, but the final product should resemble a cake.
- Your cake should represent your department's story and uniqueness, contributing to Chapman University.
- Bring your finalized works of cake art to Aitken Arts Plaza between 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM for set up.
- Your Chapman colleagues will vote for their favorite decorated cake.
- Winners will be announced before President Struppa's closing address.
- Have fun, be creative, think outside the (cake) box, and share your story!
