Diane Uehlinger '80
Ms. Diane Uehlinger, a proud 1980 graduate of the Argyros College of Business and Economics, has the distinct pleasure of being the first female member of the Board of Counselors. An active member for over ten years, Diane was first interested in becoming involved in order to represent her unique point of view as both a successful alumna and business woman. Diane enjoys participating in the dialogue as to where Chapman Business College is headed and believes that with the help of the Board, there’s no stopping the Argyros College of Business and Economics as it makes its way up the rankings.
Diane has great memories of her time as a student at the Argyros College, and is particularly fond of President Jim and Lynne Doti, who were two of her professors. She feels inspired by their engagement with the community on Chapman University’s behalf, and follows in their footsteps as an ambassador for the college.
During her time as a student at the Argyros College, Diane was very fortunate to be supported by her loving parents, Warren and Doris Uehlinger. Diane feels very lucky to have had that opportunity, and therefore she was inspired to sponsor an endowed professorship in their name. Diane continues to pay it forward to current students both financially through her gifts, and with her time as a mentor.
Diane truly feels that the Argyros College is creating quality graduates to go out in to the community, and exemplifies her belief by hiring many students and interns over the years. In fact, Diane’s nephew, Eric Uehlinger (EMBA '14), was employed in her office as a Mortgage Coordinator while he earned his Executive MBA at Chapman.
Diane is a Senior Loan Officer at the Bank of Hope in Newport Beach, CA. In her free time, she enjoys being a touring docent at The Orange County Museum of Art in Newport Beach, and sits on both the Chapman University Escalette Permanent Collection of Art board and The Pacific Art Foundation board. Diane also loves to travel and enjoys hiking with friends whenever possible and spending time with her family.
