» Panther Photo Booth – Free Professional Portraits

Through the Student Government Association and the Argyros College of Business and Economics, the Panther Photo Booth provides free, high-quality headshots to help students build a professional brand in an easy, self-serve format.

Why Professional Headshots?

Professional headshots are an important component of your personal brand. Professional headshots are typically used in the following ways:

  • Social Media
  • Handshake profiles
  • Linkedin
  • Websites (meet the team or personal features sections)
  • Presentation or panel materials
  • Any media feature

Usage Rules:

  • Maximum occupancy during any session is one person. Please respect the privacy of individuals taking photos before and after you. 
  • The booth is used on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be respectful of this process. The average time in each session is 5 minutes.
  • The booth is free of charge to Chapman University students, staff, and faculty.
  • Please only use the booth for professional headshots. Be respectful of individuals waiting to use the booth and only use it for its intended purpose. All photos can be reviewed by staff, please do not take inappropriate photos.  The Argyros College of Business and Economics has administrative access to all photos and reviews them periodically to ensure appropriate use and content.  Inappropriate use will result in referral to the Office of Student Conduct.
  • Dress appropriately and professionally.
  • Users will have an opportunity to digitally edit photos when the photos are downloaded after the session.
  • All users must have a valid Chapman University email address to use the booth and a cell phone.
  • Users receive email communications with instructions for establishing an Iris account and downloading headshots.
  • All users must enter their Chapman University email address and accept the terms and conditions before the photo session begins.
  • When you enter the booth, scan the QR code, enter your Chapman email, follow the instructions, and you’ll be able to control the photo booth right on your phone. The photo booth offers you a tutorial with instructions on how to operate it as well. You can take up to three photos in one session, plus one retake, and choose one to edit & send to your email.
  • You are welcome to take as many pictures as you like, but please be mindful of those who are waiting behind you. While taking photos, you can choose either a 3-second or 6-second timer. In between photos, the photo booth also offers tips on how to take the best professional headshot possible.
  • Please do not move the stool in the booth. It is ideally placed to provide the best photos. Adjusting the height as instructed by the booth is acceptable.
