Since the early 1990s, Chapman University has experienced unprecedented growth and academic achievement. We have accomplished this growth through the implementation of a series of five-year strategic plans and the support and hard work of the Chapman Family.
The next five-year plan, “Engineering the Future,” is the sixth in the series and lays out the University’s goals for the 2018–19 through 2022–23 academic years. Infused throughout the key strategic priorities of this plan listed below is a commitment to the brand and the Chapman Experience.

With the development of this new strategic plan comes a renewed energy and push to optimize the brand and Chapman Experience. Each strategic priority and initiative laid out in the strategic plan is part of building a cohesive and unified Chapman Experience.
The Chapman Brand. Our brand is how we tell our story. It is our distinct look, feel and voice that builds national recognition. It’s the stories we tell that set us apart.
The Chapman Experience. We're committed to consistently and intentionally delivering an exceptional experience to the members of the Chapman Family: students, staff, faculty, alumni, parents and families, donors, board members and friends.
When we tell our story in a clear, compelling and consistent way, it reinforces the Chapman Experience.
