Study Abroad in Cambridge, England

Fowler School of Law students have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join a summer study program at Cambridge University, England. Students in this program receive full credit (not counted as transfer) on a pass/fail basis.

Educational Objectives

Students who participate in the Cambridge summer study-abroad program gain a broader perspective on European and other legal systems, through specific international and comparative courses. They live in the UK for a month and have numerous opportunities to travel in other countries in the European Union. Additionally, these students gain a fresh perspective on the U.S. legal system by observing different approaches to law in countries outside the United States.

Spending the summer in Cambridge was one of the best decisions I made during law school. The combination of interesting classes, endless travel options, and a great group of people add up to an amazing experience. Learning about English and European law is fascinating and made me feel more informed about what is going on in the world.
