Next Steps for Admitted Students
Step 1
Update your contact information to ensure you receive all communications in the coming months. Email lawadmit@chapman.edu with any updates.
Step 2
Submit your seat deposit online at StudentCenter.Chapman.edu.
You may also mail a check or money order payable to Chapman University (please include your LSAC number and full name in the memo line) to:

Step 3
Provide Application and Duty to Disclose Updates if Necessary.
- Applicants have a continuing duty to disclose any changes in application answers.
- Offers of admission are based on the information available at the time of application and the law school expects applicants to provide complete and truthful information and to inform the Law Admission Office of any changes to applicant answers.
- Failure to uphold this duty to disclose may result in a rescinded offer of admission, dismissal from the law school, revocation of the degree, or denial to practice law in the state in which the bar admission is sought.
- Please contact the Law Admissions Office directly if you have any questions.
Step 4
Submit your official transcripts.
- The copy you supplied to LSAC is NOT an official transcript.
- Transcripts must show the conferral date of your bachelor's degree.
- Have transcripts sent directly to lawadmit@chapman.edu.
- If your institution does not offer an option to send electronic transcripts, request
to have them mailed to

Step 5
Complete your Federal Student Aid Application (FAFSA) (if Applicable)
The priority deadline is March 2.

You will receive an invitation to join an admitted student Instagram group in your
acceptance packet.

Attend Orientation with your class – its mandatory.
Orientation for the class entering Fall 2024 is August 14-16, with the first day of classes on August 19.
