Dale E. Fowler School of Law’s academic programs provide the best of both worlds: accredited foundational legal instruction coupled with a wide selection of certificate programs and joint degrees. With low faculty-to-student ratios, our distinguished faculty are easily accessible and provide a supportive and personalized educational experience for students in classrooms characterized by encouragement, not intimidation.
Chapman also provides students with a number of academic resources that provide real-world legal experience to help imbue their law school education with hands-on, practical skills and application. The Fowler School of Law has a thriving tradtion of advocacy with three competition boards where students test their advocacy skills against other schools: Moot Court, Mock Trial and Alternative Dispute Resolution. In addition, the school hosts a number of legal clinics where students gain specialized, practical experience in the Criminal Prosecution Clinic, Entertainment Contracts Law Clinic and Tax Law Clinics, not to mention our numerous externship opportunities for academic credit.
