Fletcher Jones Distinguished Visiting Professorship

The Fletcher Jones Distinguished Visiting Professorship has attracted leading legal scholars and educators to the Chapman University School of Law.

The Fletcher Jones Distinguished Visiting Professor of Law is selected annually from nominees and candidates who possess exceptionally outstanding credentials in legal education, and whose personal and professional lives reflect the highest ethical standards.

This endowed professorship reflects the commitment of Chapman law faculty to the teaching of law and ethics in a holistic sense, and with a mission of impressing upon students a high sense of moral responsibility in their subsequent careers and the legal profession.  Each year, the Fletcher Jones endowment brings to Chapman University a scholar whose expertise in an area of the law commands national recognition and respect, enriches the educational experience of students and faculty alike, teaches courses and seminars of contemporary relevance, and participates in formal and informal colloquia with law faculty and other scholars.
