For over 50 years Chapman University has hosted high school and college choirs from across Southern California in this exciting festival. We are delighted to welcome you and your ensemble to this year's event!
All participating schools must register online and pay a fee of $199. An email will be sent to accepted schools to begin this process.

The 2024 Choral Festival is held on the Chapman University campus in Orange, CA.
Check-in tables will be located at the street-level entrance to the Musco Center lawn area, just a short walk from the bus unloading zone on Glassell Street.
Car Parking
Event parking on campus is free, however, visitors using any of the campus lots or structures are required to register their vehicle and obtain a virtual permit. Failure to do so risks being ticketed and fined by parking services.
Parking across the street from the university or in the nearby neighborhood is prohibited and subject to ticketing by the City of Orange. You may park along the university perimeter on Glassell Street, E. Palm Avenue, or N. Center Street, if available.

Bus Parking and Unloading
Unloading of buses can only occur where indicated on Glassell Street, adjacent to Musco Center for the Arts. Parking for buses is a short drive from campus at El Camino Park on the corner of Walnut Avenue and Main Street in Orange.
The check-in tables will be found at the street-level entrance to the Musco Center lawn area (see map). There you will be assigned:

The Musco Center for the Arts stage will be configured with eight 4-level Wenger riser sections (total of five levels including the floor), a conductor's music stand, and a grand piano and bench. Extra stands and chairs will be available as well.
We are extremely proud of our Randall Dining Commons (on-campus dining hall), and this is the location where the high school choristers will have their pre-paid evening meal. The afternoon festival should end at approximately 5:30 p.m. After the concert, all choristers will be ushered to the Dining Commons (a short walk), returning to the venue in time for the evening session featuring college choirs and Chapman University choirs.

Q: Can I select our warm-up and/or performance time(s) during the festival
A: Warm-up times are scheduled in advance, in consultation with the visiting ensemble director and festival director. If you have a concern, please contact us in advance.
Q: Are the afternoon/evening sessions open to the public?
A: Yes; both sessions are open to parents and friends. If you are a chaperone, be sure to indicate the appropriate number of attendees during the registration process so you can sit with your choir. All other seating is first come, first served.
Q: Do I need a parking permit if I'm only staying for for my student's performance?
A: Yes—all visitors must display a valid, short-term parking permit during their campus visit.
