The French Program at Chapman University has a long tradition of excellence with great instructors who enhance the learning atmosphere with their unique insights on various aspects of the Francophone world.  Studying French at Chapman is a tremendous experience that empowers the learner to choose the direction of their own education within the degree itsself.  The framework for a major or minor is in place with several choices available every semester.
Degrees Offered:

Semester Abroad in Cannes, France

American Institute for Foreign Studies (AIFS) in Cannes, France offers a vast array of beginning, intermediate, and advanced French language courses as well as general education courses taught in French and/or English in art history, organizational leadership, history/sociology, and French Cinema. Chapman University oversees AIFS-Cannes and is responsible for the transcription of all grades. A unique internship program at the international Cannes Film Festival is offered each spring. Students can study with AIFS-Cannes during the fall, spring, and summer sessions. The department regularly offers an internship travel seminar to France. Contact the Center for Global Education.
