Henley Hall

Henley Hall is an exciting place! Since it's opening in the early fall of 2001, Henley has been a welcoming community with many things to offer all the residents: an enthusiastic student staff, state of the art facilities, as well as a community center. Being similar in looks to Pralle-Sodaro hall much of the features are the same. Each floor has a trash/recycling space, there are eight lounges and three study rooms and the rooms are furnished with extra-long twin beds, dressers and desk with rolling office chairs. The differences include an underground entertainment/laundry/lounge/workout gym, and all the rooms have their own single bath and closet. The rooms are painted in mauve and off-white. Henley rooms are also equipped with two data jacks for Internet access and two phone lines.

Henley has some very special features such as a substance free community on the 4th floor as well as a First Year Experience (FYE) themed community on the second floor for incoming students. With in-hall programming and a full community center, each student is sure to find their nitch!

The most unique aspect of Henley Hall is the Cheverton Commons community center. It is open to ALL Chapman University resident students and includes:

• 2 Musical Instrument Practice rooms with digital keyboards.
• 2 Study/Conference rooms
• A Media room with large screen TV, surround-sound receiver and speakers, DVD, VHS, Cable and comfortable seating
• Multipurpose room with large projection screen (Great for meetings, study sessions, etc.)
• A convenience store open Monday-Friday 4pm - 1am
• 2 Billiard Tables
• 2 Ping-pong Tables
• Air Hockey Table
• Foosball Table
• Video Games
• A Laundry room with plenty of machines and clothes folding tables.

Please realize that the demand for Henley far exceeds the space available.
