»School of Computational Sciences

In keeping with the desire to forge an ivy league-caliber university with the spirit of an intimate liberal arts institution, the School of Computational Sciences has recruited some of the top scientific minds from around the world to give constant, in-depth instruction to both undergraduate and graduate students. With a large emphasis on faculty and student-driven research ranging from signal processing to population genetics, working faculty scientists teach classes dealing with such real-world questions as whether or not the future affects the past at the quantum level, or how best to mine data pertaining to atmospheric pollution.

Several students have received offers of employment before they graduated, and the list of Chapman alumni working at such distinguished companies as Boeing, Google, and Apple will only continue to grow.  Those students seeking further studies have gone on to prominent national and international programs from UCLA to The University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
