Syllabi Download / First Week Reading Assignments

Review this list to determine if your professor has posted the syllabus and/or first reading assignment for your courses. New syllabi and reading assignments are posted frequently as the new semester approaches, so check back often. If no reading assignment is listed on this chart, it may be listed within the syllabus itself; or you may check for manually posted reading assignments in the Registrar's office on the first floor of the law school building. The syllabi provides a general outline of how the course may be taught, but should not be relied upon for determining the actual textbooks, exam schedule, etc. That information will be unique to each professor and provided to you at the beginning of the course.

IF YOU DO NOT SEE A CURRENT SYLLABUS OR READING ASSIGNMENT FOR THE SPRING SEMESTER, PLEASE CHECK FOR POSTED ASSIGNMENTS IN THE REGISTRAR'S OFFICE.

Note for All Courses:

+ : Registration allowed only with prior approval. Applications are available from the Registrar and must be completed by specified date. Extremely limited enrollment
* : Satisfies the writing requirement
** : Allows the optional production of a paper that will satisfy the writing requirement.
*** : Must attend the first class meeting or you will be dropped from the course. Additionally, if you are substantially late for the first class, you will be replaced with the first name on the wait list, and your name will be added to the end of the wait list.
$ : Satisfies the lawyering skills requirement (though one course may not satisfy both the writing and lawyering skills requirement.)
# : Limited Enrollment
@: Laptops are prohibited during instruction in class. This does not necessarily apply to the use of laptops during the final exam.
