February '07 Bar Passers Sworn-in at Law School Ceremony

June 5, 2007 -- Most of the 30 Chapman alumni who passed the February 2007 California Bar Examination were present at a private swearing-in ceremony at the law school Tuesday evening. Judge Theodor Albert of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court gave the federal oath, while Judge David Sills of the California Court of Appeal administered the state oath. Lawrence Kole, secretary of the Orange County Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, encouraged the group to consider membership, and Chapman alumnus, Greg Goodrich ('99), provided pearls of wisdom on staying visible and active as lawyers in the community. The evening event was overseen by Chapman's new Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Timothy Canova, who toasted the newly licensed attorneys at a following reception.
