A Professor of Law at the University of California, Berkeley and a former Visiting Professor at the University of Chicago and Free University of Amsterdam, Professor Yoo held the Fulbright Distinguished Chair in Law at the University of Trento, in Italy, in 2006 and was a Law Clerk for both Justice Clarence Thomas and D.C. Circuit Judge Laurence Silberman. He served as General Counsel for the Senate Judiciary Committee, from 1995 to 2006 and was a Deputy Assistant Attorney General, Office of Legal Counsel, for the U.S. Department of Justice.
