This timeline was created to ensure that you follow the necessary steps to successful enrollment at Chapman University. Please read carefully, note important deadlines and mailing dates, and follow each instruction. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the appropriate office on campus. Deadline to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This is the priority deadline for filing the FAFSA. Forms must be postmarked no later than the March 2 deadline. Freshman Foundations Course Preference survey sent to your Chapman Email account. This survey will be sent after we receive your enrollment deposit. You will be placed in a Freshman Foundations Course (FFC 100) and learning community based on your answers to this survey. Summer Registration mailer goes out to all deposited students. This mailer provides important information on academic advising and course registration. Note: All course registration is completed online via WebAdvisor, but incoming freshmen must complete academic advising prior to their assigned registration date. Math Placement Testing available. Math placement testing is completed online for those students who need it. If you do not meet the criteria for one of the math placement waivers outlined on the website, you must complete math placement testing to determine which math course is appropriate for you. All preparatory math courses (Math 98/99) must be completed in your first year of enrollment at Chapman. It is imperative that you take the math placement test or receive a waiver prior to registering for courses. More information will be given in your advising session.
