Mission of the Schmid Center
- Educate and mentor students to assume leadership roles in global business.
- Create and disseminate knowledge through research on the global economy.
- Promote interaction between the Argyros School of Business & Economics and the business community, especially the international business community.
- Provide leadership in internationalizing business education in ASBE.
The Schmid Center serves ASBE’s Mission generally through enhancing the global perspective in the School, and specifically through the provision of a variety of international experiences for our students and exposure to distinguished speakers on contemporary global issues.

- Strengthen your business resume with an international focus. Corporate visits in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro to IT, advertising, banking, media, manufacturing, and energy sectors (Bovespa, Natura, Volkswagen, TV Globo, McCann Erickson, etc). 10 days travel and 5 days of class on Orange campus.
- Orange Campus: Jan 9-14, Brazil: Jan 16-25
- Gain an in-depth knowledge of South America’s most important economy and site of the 2016 Olympics
- Program fee will include most meals, local transportation, cultural excursions, and 4 star hotel accommodations.
