ADMISSION DEADLINES

Please refer to the important dates below to ensure that your application is processed in a timely manner. There are no deadlines for most graduate programs, and all University College campuses.

Orange campus - Undergraduate (including international applications)
Spring 2009	Applications received after November 1 for transfers are reviewed on a space and funds available basis only.
Fall 2009	Early Action (Freshmen, non-binding): November 15, 2008 Freshman applicants must submit all required material by the above date. Film candidates refer to the supplemental application for more information. Regular Admission (Freshmen): January 15, 2009 Freshman applicants must submit all required material by the above date. Regular Admission (Transfers): March 1, 2009 Transfer applicants must submit all required material by the above date. Late Consideration Applications received after the above dates are reviewed on a space available basis only.

Spring 2009	Priority Application Deadline: October 15, 2008 This applies to MBA only. EMBA students are only admitted for Fall. Students who apply by the priority deadline will receive first consideration for admission and department fellowships. Applications received after the deadline will be considered on a space available basis until the class fills.
	Preferred Application Deadline: December 1, 2008 This applies to MBA only. EMBA students are only admitted for Fall.
Fall 2009	Priority Application Deadline: May 1, 2009 Students who apply by the priority deadline will receive first consideration for admission and department fellowships. Applications received after the deadline will be considered on a space available basis until the class fills.
	Preferred Application Deadline: July 1, 2009

Fall 2009	Priority Application Deadline: February 1, 2009 Students who apply by the above deadline will receive first consideration for admission and fellowships. Applications received after the deadline will be considered on a space available basis.
	Regular Application Deadline: May 1, 2009 Applications received after the deadline will be considered on a space available basis.

Orange campus - Doctor of Physical Therapy
Fall 2008	Application Deadline: November 15, 2008 Students who apply by the above deadline will receive first consideration for admission and department fellowships. Applications received after the deadline will be accepted on a rolling basis until the class fills.

Orange campus - School of Education
Fall 2009	Ed.S. School Psychology and MA School Counseling only: Priority Application Deadline for full consideration: February 1, 2009 Applications submitted after that date will be considered on a space available basis.
Fall 2009	Ph.D. Education Priority Application Deadline for full consideration: February 29, 2009. Applications received after that date will be considered on a space available basis.
Spring, Summer, & Fall 2009	*All other School of Education* Masters and Credential programs:** Rolling admission for Fall, Spring and Summer.

Orange campus - MA in Psychology (Marriage and Family Therapy)
Spring, 2009	Priority Application Deadline: November 1, 2008 Students who apply by the priority deadline will receive first consideration for admission. Applications received after the priority deadline will be considered on a space available basis.
Fall, 2009	Priority Application Deadline: March 1, 2009 Students who apply by the priority deadline will receive first consideration for admission and department fellowships. Applications received after the priority deadline will be considered on a space available basis.

Orange campus - MS in Food Science
Spring/Fall 2009	Rolling Admission. Applications are considered on a space available basis.

Orange campus - MA in English, or MFA in Creative Writing
Spring 2009	Priority Application Deadline: November 1, 2008 Students who apply by the priority deadline will receive first consideration for admission. Applications received after the priority deadline will be considered on a space available basis.
