Minor in History and Media

The minor in History and Media is devoted specifically to examining the impact of film, photography and other forms of mass media on the interpretation of historical events. In this minor students will consider the value of these materials as historical documents, as agents of historical change and as appropriate medium for presenting history.

The minor in History and Media requires a total of 21 credits. There is a six credit, two course core. Students must also take five additional courses selected from the list below.
