Understanding the diversity of this world begins with an understanding of the uniqueness inherent in the thinking and behavior of each of its citizens.

The Department of Psychology provides students with training that leads to a comprehensive understanding of human thinking and behavior. By engaging students in critical reasoning, research, and clinical and other practical experience, we help students understand and evaluate current theoretical and empirical models of behavior and promote the development of new models.
