» Federal Work-Study

  • The Federal Work-Study Program provides a student the opportunity to work part-time while attending school.
  • To qualify for a Federal Work-Study position you must demonstrate financial need and have Federal Work-Study as a part of your overall financial aid offer.
  • It is your responsibility to search, apply and interview for a position as well as maintain your own continual employment.
  • Recruitment for on-campus jobs continues throughout the year and is based on the needs of the department, school or college.
  • If you will be applying for on-campus jobs, please accept your offered Federal Work-Study in the Student Center.
  • If you have financial need and have not been awarded Federal Work-Study, you can reach out to the Undergraduate Financial Aid Office.
  • You may work up to 19 hours per week. No job pays less than California minimum wage.
  • Student Employment Services in the Human Resources Department handles the employment of students. You can look for a position online.
