» Faculty Mentor Advising

Faculty mentors have expertise in their disciplinary area and can assist students with interdisciplinary or self-designed programs of study and similar customized curricular paths. They can also assist students with postgraduate planning for graduate or professional school.

Talk to your faculty mentor about internships, special academic programs, such as honor societies, and related academic opportunities.

Your faculty mentor will be assigned to you by your major program, or you can request a particular faculty member to be your faculty mentor.

For general advising on topics such as registration policies, my.chapman.edu use, program evaluation interpretation, study abroad information, and other special programs, consult your professional advisor in the Academic Advising Center or a specialized advisor (in the Center for Global Education, for example).
