Friends of the Albert Schweitzer Institute

Anyone who believes that Schweitzer's career -- scholarly achievement combined with selfless service -- and philosophy -- respect and support for life -- can help us lead better lives and build a better society, is invited to join "Friends of the Albert Schweitzer Institute."

There are six membership categories:

All members enjoy discounts on selected books by and about Albert Schweitzer. Members in the categories of Donor and above receive a copy of Schweitzer's Memoirs of Childhood and Youth, translated by Kurt and Alice Bergel.

Most importantly, all members receive the satisfaction of supporting the work of Albert Schweitzer as it encourages reflection upon the legacy of Schweitzer and his ethic.

Memberships are for one year from the date on which they are each begun.
