Office of Social Justice

Services we are committed to:

  • Developing programs that educate and spread awareness about social justice and multicultural issues
  • Creating a community of socially conscious people who actively work toward a more just and equitable world
  • Providing support for underrepresented and margianalized groups and individuals within the larger campus community

As an office, we coordinate the Social Justice Council - a group comprised of the leaders/representatives from all multicultural and social justice organizations, to provide support, services, and develop leadership skills. Recognized student organizations that are categorized as ethnic/cultural/social justice are invited to participate in this council.

Individuals interested in multiculturalism and social justice are also encouraged to attend our weekly meetings on Fridays at 1pm.

For more information, please contact Sara D. Sheikh (sheikh@chapman.edu).
