Chapman Law LL.M. Offerings

LL.M. IN TAXATION

The LL.M. in Taxation program builds upon the school’s strength in the tax field. Courses in the LL.M. program are taught by a mixture of experienced full-time law teachers and leading southern California tax practitioners who bring their extensive experience in specialized areas of tax practice to the Chapman classroom.

LL.M. IN PROSECUTORIAL SCIENCE

The LL.M. in Prosecutorial Science provides graduate instruction from an experienced team of veteran academicians and prosecutors, who create a high-caliber educational opportunity for prosecutorial leaders. The program is offered to prosecutors from various state and local agencies in California and around the nation. The program consists primarily of evening, weekend and summer courses supplemented by live distance-learning classes.

LL.M. WITH EMPHASIS AREAS

The LL.M. with Emphasis is distinct from the existing, more focused programs in Tax and Prosecutorial Science. In this program, LL.M. students have the ability to pursue an emphasis in a field in which the School of Law has particular strength, including Business Law & Economics, Entertainment & Media Law, and International & Comparative Law, as well as a custom-designed emphasis program (on approval).
