»Distinguished Visiting Professors

Each year Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law brings scholars to the law school under the two distinguished professorships, The Fletcher Jones Distinguished Visiting Professorship and The Bette and Wylie Aitken Distinguished Visiting Professorship.

The Fletcher Jones Distinguished Visiting Professorship brings to the law school a scholar whose expertise in an area of the law commands national recognition and respect, enriches the educational experience of students and faculty alike, teaches courses and seminars of contemporary relevance, and participates in formal and informal colloquia with law faculty and other scholars.

The Bette and Wylie Aitken Distinguished Visiting Professorship brings a prominent legal scholar whose expertise will compliment the strengths of the law school's existing class offerings and reflects Chapman's commitment to enrich and strengthen the academic experience of our students by offering new perspectives and exceptional expertise from nationally-acclaimed scholars.
