Center for Land Resources
In February 2008, the Center will co-host a major scholars workshop, Property Transactions and Transitions in an Age of Globalization, with the Center for Property, Citizenship and Social Entrepreneurism ("PCSE") of the Syracuse University College of Law. This important event brings together twenty one scholars from around the country, and from Wales, England and Australia, with representation from a host of law schools, including Georgetown, UNC, the University of Georgia, Vanderbilt, UNLV, Syracuse, the London School of Economics, among others. |

The Center for Land Resources, directed by Professor Daniel Bogart, addresses issues related to environmental law, real estate transactions and land use. The Center brings the expertise and resources of Chapman University to the service of the public and the profession through educational programs, research, and community service initiatives. The Center has sponsored guest speakers on topics such as water quality, land use, environmental and real estate issues, and has also hosted conferences and workshops, such as the 2003 Wet Growth Conference. The Center also co-sponsors other programs, including a bi-monthly continuing legal education program for in-house real estate counsel in conjunction with First American Title Corporation.
