Chapman Law Moves Into the U.S. News Top 100 ListThe 2011 U.S. News and World Report ranking of the nation’s top law schools was revealed on April 15, 2010, and the good news keeps coming for Chapman. The 15-year-old law school has moved to #93 on the prestigious Top 100 list of ABA law schools. The move is the second major jump in two years, with Chapman having moved into the third tier in 2008. “This is an extraordinary achievement for our School of Law, moving up in the rankings this quickly,” said Chapman President Jim Doti. “It is a tribute to the dedication and hard work of our past deans, John Eastman and Parham Williams, and to our outstanding law faculty who have always reflected such credit upon Chapman University.” Chapman also excels in rankings that reflect student satisfaction. In Princeton Review's Best 172 Law Schools, 2010 Edition, which surveys actual law students, Chapman maintained a Top-10 position in “Best Classroom Experience (#2)," “Quality of Life (#3)," and “Professors Rock (Legally Speaking) (#7).” |
