Top Constitutional/Ethics Scholar Ron Rotunda and Former U.S. Congressman Tom Campbell to Join Chapman University School of Law
Chapman Chapman University School of Law is pleased to announce the addition of 16 new and visiting faculty members in 2008-09. Leading the list are two prominent members of the legal academy: Ronald Rotunda and Tom Campbell. Like Nobel laureate Vernon Smith, who joined Chapman earlier this year, Ronald Rotunda is one of the nation's most influential and respected scholars. A graduate of Harvard Law School, he has taught constitutional law and ethics for a combined 34 years at the University of Illinois and George Mason University and is a co-author of the most widely used textbook on legal ethics. Tom Campbell served for ten years as a U.S. Congressman and two years as a California State Senator, and was a Professor of Law at Stanford University for more than twenty years. Most recently, he was Dean and Professor of Business at the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley. Also a graduate of Harvard Law School, his many accomplishments include: clerk to United States Supreme Court Justice Byron White; White House Fellow; Executive Assistant to DeputyAttorney General at the Department of Justice; and, Director of the Bureau of Competition at the Federal Trade Commission.
