This scratch art represents Janusz Korczak’s quest to succeed in helping poor and deprived children.

The white light above, represents life, and deep shadows contrast the intensity of his features.  Fine white lines on black accentuate the eyes, giving him that “Look of Determination” to make a meaningful contribution to their lives.
