To promote greater tolerance and cooperation among peoples and to advance research, teaching, publication, and knowledge of issues of peace and goodwill, the Rotary Foundation offers advanced education opportunities for individuals commited to peace and conflict resolution. This program funds master's level degrees in international studies, sustainable development, peace studies, and conflict resolution at one of seven Rotary Center university partners. U.S. citizens must attend one of the international centers (in Argentina, Australia, France, Japan, or the United Kingdom). |

Eligibility: |
|
Applicants must hold an earned degree from an accredited institution or its international equivalent; have proficiency in a second language (including the language of the proposed host country); possess excellent leadership skills; demonstrate a commitment to peace and international understanding through service, academic, or professional achievements; and hold citizenship in a country where there is a Rotary Club. |

Award: |
|
This fellowship funds one or two academic years plus an applied field experience; it includes tuition and fees, a standardized room and board stipend, transportation, contingency expenses, and the applied field experience. |

The deadline for the Orange Rotary Club is typically between mid-April and May 1. Final decisions are generally announced in November and December of the year preceding study abroad. |
